Scarborough Swimming Club (SSC) was formed in 1893 as an offshoot of the Scarborough Rowing club

Swimming was the club’s main focus being based at several different pools including Blands Cliff swimming baths, Aquarium Top, South and North Bay outdoor pools, the Scarborough Indoor Pool (unfortunately all no longer exist as public pools) and its current home within Scarborough Sports Village
